I have just found this game on my internet research. It seems to be an interesting one with a lot of features – of course by referring to the fact that it is for free. Update: note that I have re-edited this post, by adding some further informations and screenshots (this post has originally been published on April 13, 2008).

“Last Chaos” is a free MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) with 3d-graphics and a lot of game related possibilities. I am saying “free” because one can decide whether to pay for this one or not – I do certainly like this approach. I you choose to pay for this indeed, you are able to get some interesting and special items that are not available in the game itself (like XP-scrolls, Pet colours et cetera) – however, this is not a must. And as always: another reason to pay would be that fact that you can pay to support the developers that are behind this. Since it is not that easy to maintain such an amount of servers, and supporting the community and unique players… To state it here; I already bought some LCC (Last Chaos Chash, the currency that you will recieve after choosing your desired package). Here in germany the prices are moving between 6.99 Euros (smallest package) up to 54.99 Euros (biggest package).
I gave this one a try by having started almost 50 days ago. Most certainly, I needed some time to form myself an opinion here – but it definitely seemed to be interesting and worth a watch from the moment I first started it. I have written a few entries referring to my thoughts about this one, which I would like to present to you here.
16.04.08: I have chosen to play the Knight class. As I was told, they are just perfect for beginners, since their abilities are balanced between the normal and magical ones – and they are very resistant (for example, advantageous for the so called pet-leveling). I have found myself a guild already – my knight is now on level 10. This game seems to present exactly what I was looking for – it somehow reminds me of “Neverwinter Nights” (of course, without the great storyline – rather referring to the overall game-play) or “WOW“. It looks interesting, the first contact with other players could be established in no time – I will definitely play it in the next days also. Still, there are many things that are not that easy to figure out ! I am glad that the majority of players seems to be willing to help, even though I am still a “newbie”.
01.05.08: I am still playing this game – it certainly is a lot of fun. I have found a new guild, since my old one was not active anymore… I am looking forward to get in touch with the unique members now. My character is on level 22 by now, my pet (I decided to go for the horse, colouring it in a golden tone) on level 10. I know, I am kind of slow… Interesting: the events that can take place any day; when announced by the game masters. An this is when a lot of players are coming together ! Unfortunately I have not actually seen what has been announced today, in fact this should have been a big raid – since I had no more time left. Furthermore, it seemed a bit confusing – with all the different servers and different announcements. Let us see, maybe it works next time…
26.05.08:My knight is now on level 30+; I have chosen to become a royal. Unfortunately I am rather slow concerning my pet leveling – I am planning to use it as a mount later (this could still take some time, it is possible when the pet reaches level 31). These days I became member of another guild – and this is the first time I encountered really active guild members which are almost always reachable ! I am still not thinking about quitting this one.
28.05.08:I think that I am ready for a final estimation now. Some other facts that I have not mentioned before: there are two big Servers; Katar and Delum (this is where I play) – which again have 7 different servers to play on. So in case that one is busy – you could just simply switch to another. And by referring to the game itself once more: there are 3 different maps by now (Juno, Dratan and Merak), which are offering a lot of variety. Juno is the map on which all beginners start, having a big and always very enlivened marketplace on which the players are offering their goods. Of course, you would not find any higher-leveled mobs on this map – so when you are ready, you would start to encounter the worlds of Dratan (which is a bright desert map) and Merak (which seems to be a big, dark forest). And of course; on each unique map there are some accessible temples (with different mobs) also.
Most certainly, the main sense of this game is the leveling – that is why some might face this one sceptical. Even I am getting frustrated sometimes – because this will certainly take some time when you get higher leveled ! But fortunately there are a lot of game related options that would not make this that boring at all. You have the pets who have to be feeded and healed, you have the stat points that you gain; you have the skills that you can choose to train by gaining more and more SP (skill points), you have the opportunity to build your own weapons and armor, fabricating a lot of different stuff also. It goes just like this: I am entering the world in Juno, checking out the traders for the newest goods (sometimes you even have to chaffer); then I am getting in contact with the people on my friend list, talking about this and that. Shortly after that we would be going to hunt some mobs in Dratan or Merak… whether it is alone, or in a group (which is much more fun, of course). And after this you could go to the arena, facing some other human opponents to see who skilled his character in a better way… and so on. I never found this one really boring; but of course: this is just my opinion !
I think I will not update this post anymore – there should be enough information to form yourself an opinion about this one. I can only advise you to give it a look.
Finally, you can take a look on some other screenshots that I recently made:
And of course, you could tell me if this post was helpful ! I would be glad.

Just read your post for the first time, looks great:) Gonna have a look at the rest of your blog!
I tried this out before when I was looking through the different free MMO’s that are circling the web. Its well animated and decently designed the only prob I had with it was it was slow and hard to figure out in the beginning. Ive played a good few MMO’s and there not usualy such a chore to figure out but then again as I said it is well designed and free:)
Yeah, that is exactly how I think… I found myself a little aimless in the beginning, too. Even now there are many questions left, or steady occuring (the whole pet-thing, the supplies, where to buy what, how to skill et cetera). But this automatically is another good thing about the game, I think – since it implicates that it is not that simple at all. I am glad that I found some other players that I have in my friendlist now, so one can chat a little – or maybe get some help. But I totally agree – since this one is for free, it is well designed. Thanks for your comment ! Going for Level 14 now…
I LOVE THIS
Last Chaos is a rly great game, there are many pros about it. First IT IS FREE! the graphic is superb and so is the gameplay. There’s so many things you can do: make weapons and armors, raise pets, learn flashy skills, get your own pet food, upgrade your weapons so they glow, fight a large variety of monsters, travel from one map to another, and the list goes on. It is very fun, exciting and of course addictive. Very worthwhile game if your looking to spent some free time just relaxing and grinding!
this game roks i got a dragon mount yesterday i am lvl 29 it hits 1700! it is pretty good! and my blue ppony is lvl 17 (gonna be 19 today) and i love the whole setup of it!
I have quit the game with my becoming level 49. To state it, it gets way too boring in such higher levels. All this rather monotone leveling; slaying the same monsters over and over again, the lack of quests and originality – and now they even raised the level up to 90 in germany ! An aim I would not go for, definitively not. I think I will try out AgeOfConan or Warhammer Online instead – once I got myself a new PC.
